About Me

As a woman and a mother, the need for compassion and support plays a constant role daily in my life.  As a Doula, I hope to extend that compassion and support to those that I serve.  I want to support those that I come in contact with in the decisions that they have made for themselves, their birth and their families.

I was born in Southern California, moved to Massachusetts in the 9th grade and spent my high school, college and early parenting years there.  I spent some time in the MA Army National Guard as a medic.  My basic and AIT trainings were held at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and Fort Sam Houston, Texas respectively.  After a brief stint in the Dallas, TX area, our family made our way to Central NC.  We have been happily here since 2005.

Our home consists of four rambunctious children, ten hens, two dogs, and a beta fish named Star Lord.  As a family we enjoy spending time hiking, walking, watching Marvel movies (#TeamCaptainAmerica) and participating in service and church activities.  In my personal down time, I love reading and can spend hours absorbed in a book and I also enjoy doing crafts, taking pictures and making photo albums.

I look forward to serving your needs and those of your family,
